Twin brothers Osvaldo and Fulgenzio Borsani founded Milan-based furniture company Tecno in 1953. Trained as an architect, Osvaldo designed many of the company’s most iconic pieces, including the T90 Writing Desk (1954). Simple in form but smartly designed, T90 was awarded the Diploma of Honor at the 1954 Milan Triennial and later used as the basis for a series of tables and desks by Borsani. It stands on a steel base set back from the front of the tabletop with ray-like feet of different lengths and slopes for superior stability. Three sleek drawers provide storage under the graceful contoured top. Made in Italy.
